You just want to be able to enjoy your dog.
You want to be able to take relaxing walks together, to have him come when you call, to greet you, your neighbors, and friends with a calm, polite sit instead of all that frenzied jumping. Essentially, to show some manners.
I think that’s very reasonable.
I think that’s very reasonable.
My 3 dog training goals for you:
1. Replacing frustration with “Ahhh…”
Whether it’s all the jumping, the pulling, the demand for attention at exactly the wrong moments, or the way he ignores his own name (even though you know he knows it!), my job is to transform pushy, rude behavior into something more becoming.
2. Good dog manners at home
I want you to enjoy your dog’s company in the comfort of your home. Imagine a dog who responds to requests, can settle down on her bed when you’re busy, and treats you and your guests with friendly, controlled grace.
3. Good dog manners anywhere
I want you to enjoy your dog’s company out-and-about in our beautiful city and wild areas, too. That means a dog who sits when you ask, waits at doors and curbs, walks politely by your side on leash, and comes when called when he’s free to roam.

Able to enjoy more pleasurable walks.
I worked with Jaimie to address leash pulling. Our dog is very strong and I was afraid one of us was going to get hurt. After a few sessions Maizie and I are able to enjoy more pleasurable walks. I’ve referred several of my friends.

We needed work on the big-deal stuff.
We needed work on the big-deal stuff, like drop it, leave it, and coming when called. In four at-home visits, Jaimie addressed all that and more. Best of all, she helped with our dog’s leash-walking manners. And our dog LOVED her.
